- 1½ cups warm water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp kosher salt (reduce amount if using table salt)
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 4½ cups all purpose flour
- 2 oz unsalted butter, melted
- Vegetable oil, for pan

- 10 cups water
- ⅔ cups baking soda
- Egg Wash
- 1 large egg yolk, beaten with 1 Tbsp water
